Staff Nurse is required for a Pre-Assessment Nurse position for a private hospital in Surrey rated as 'Good' by the Care Quality Commission.
The Client
Our client has a large number of hospitals and specialist cancer centres around the UK and provides expert medical care in their modern and well-equipped hospitals.
The Role
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to provide exemplary planned care for patients and assist in the management and organisation of care provision based on the pre-assessment unit.
Responsibilities include: -
To maintain standards of infection control within the hospital and own department and to assist patients to maintain their own infection control needs
To provide advice, guidance and support to junior staff by maintaining professional standards to ensure the delivery of high quality care
To ensure that Clinical Governance and risk management are embedded within daily practice.
Carry out any other duty that reasonably falls within the general nature and level of responsibility of the post.
