Job Summary
We are a mixed practice based in Islington, London currently seeking a Qualified Dental Nurse to join our team. Duties will include all required dental nursing duties. We provide a range of services from routine dental care, general dentistry and hygiene treatments to more specialised treatments such as endodontics,orthodontics, perio, dental implants and facial aesthetics. You will be part of a large team and your main role will be to provide chairside assistance to dentists.
Candidates who are not registered with the GDC need not apply.
Work schedule: Monday to Thursday from 8:00am to 8.00pm Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm Saturday 9.00am to 1.30pm. (you will work on a rota approx 35-40h per week)
Responsibilities and Duties
Candidate will provide chairside assistance to the dentist and be able to carry out the necessary dental nursing procedures, e.g. charting, suctioning, infection control, waterline disinfection, sterilisation, decontamination and storage of dental instruments, etc.
Qualifications and Skills
Candidate must hold a full qualification, either NEBDN, NVQ or Diploma.
Candidate must be
* Friendly, yet professional at all times
* Fully qualified and GDC registered.
*Must have experience in working with implants, Invisalign and facial aesthetics.
* Organised, positive and enthusiastic
* Able to remain calm and professional, even under pressure
* Able to work well in a team
